Crowne Energy is engaged in the identification, acquisition and development of conventional and unconventional oil and gas prospects and assets in North America and globally via Joint Ventures with experienced partners, operators and contractors. With the current and future anticipated low oil and commodities price environment, Crowne Energy has prospects in the conventional as well as unconventional oil and gas resources that can be acquired and developed with long term profitability that is sustainable within a range of crude oil prices based on regional crude benchmarks that are reflective of actual cash price settlements and not based on presumptive futures markets. Crowne Energy Crude Oil & Products Trading Unit Team will secure higher and profitable hedging prices for production of hydrocarbons and related products at strategically timed market opportunities.
The main focus of operations is in the USA onshore shale plays and conventional oil and gas assets, while also reviewing and generating potential prospects worldwide in proven high hydrocarbon reserve and production regions.
Crowne Energy has a portfolio of oil and gas prospects and projects in the Eagle Ford Shale, Bakken Shale, Niobrara Shale, Mancos Shale, Permian and in other emerging Shale Plays in the USA. The primary target propsects and projects lie within the "sweet spots" for Crude Oil, Condensate, NGLs and wet gas with high and record IPs as recorded by offset wells. Most of the prospects and projects have several "stacked" formations such as in the Eagle Ford which include well known formations such as Escondido, Olmos, Austin Chalk, Buda and Pearsall.
Crowne Energy is actively seeking new ventures in the existing and new and emerging stacked Shale Plays onshore USA. Crowne Energy also engages in acquisition and redevelopment of conventional mature oil fields and known reserves with a high volume of oil in place and recoverable reserves using new geotechnical capabilities for sub-surface reservoir analysis, drilling and production techologies, radial jet drilling, infill drilling and EOR. Using the same new technologies. Crowne Energy also assess mature, marginal fields and orphaned wells to evaluate the potential of such fields and wells and target the development and production of oil from viable prospects and find new reservoirs that may have been bypassed as well as production from the known reservoirs.
